Sexual and Domestic Violence:

  • Organization of Sexual Assault Programs, the final report of a survey project sponsored by the Governor's Crime Commission and conducted in North Carolina during 2005-2006.  The report assesses how or whether organizational structure affects the provision or reporting of sexual assault services in both single program and combined sexual and domestic violence programs

Community Problem-Solving and Visioning:

  • **NEW** Creating Their Own Futures: Community Visioning and North Carolina Local Governments  Popular Government: Vol. 73, No. 2, Winter 2008. 
    Government leaders often want to shape the long-term direction of their communities. How can they do that effectively? A report on visioning processes conducted in Roxboro, Wilkes County, and Wilson County provides lessons on visioning and strategic planning.
  • The Public Intersection Toolkit - The resources in this user-friendly notebook are designed to (1) help participants understand the nature and importance of cross-sector relationships and (2) develop skills to assess, document, change, and develop these relationships.
