For more information contact Janice Bolick or Jessica Smith or Jim Drennan

We recommended that you use Internet Explorer (IE) 5 or 6 for best results accessing the E-Lecture. The Power Point show should open directly into IE. When you select the first audio link in the show, your computer should activate Real Audio and begin streaming the first file. Real Audio will appear on your screen *in front of* the Power Point slide show. Click on the Real Audio minimize symbol to push the Real Audio pop-up to the back. After you have opened and run the first audio file, all audio files will open quickly without pulling the Real Audio application window in front of the Power Point. If you attempt to use Netscape (any version), you will have to toggle back and forth between the Power Point slide show and the Real Audio application.

(General instructions for downloading Power Point files, Streaming Audio, and PDFs.)

If you have any problems, contact Philip Young at the school of government between 8:00 and 4:00 at 919-962-0592 or by e-mail at pyoung@imap.unc.edu
