Specific instructions for running the audio with the PowerPoint for this Web page:

Netscape 4.7 or better users

  1. Click on the link for the Presentation and download the PowerPoint presentation first. Then, open it in PowerPoint, but do not run the slide show. The best format for viewing the file is File Normal. To set that up, click on the "View" pulldown at the top of your PowerPoint screen and then click on "Normal." Now, minimize the Powerpoint presentation while you open the audio file.

  2. To open the audio file, click on the link for the Presentation Audio, which will open Real Player and begin streaming the audio. Once the audio begins, minimize RealAudio and maximize the PowerPoint presentation you opened in step 1. The session will now begin. A gavel sound will tell you when to advance PowerPoint slides. Advance slides by clicking on the down arrow on the scrollbar on the right side of your PowerPoint screen.

  3. To pause the audio, you will have to minimize the PowerPoint presentation, maximize the Real Audio application and pause the audio. Note that you will need to pause the audio when you are instructed to do the self test problems.
