Note: As of January 1, 2008, UNC-Chapel Hill expanded its no-smoking policy to prohibit smoking in outdoor areas up to 100 feet from University facilities; smoking inside these facilities was already prohibited. Violations of the policy are now subject to a fine plus court costs. Please note the parking deck at the School of Government is considered a University facility.
