Financial Leadership for water and wastewater utility

governing boards

This small participatory workshop allows utility finance specialists to work with local boards to expand their understanding of their financial management obligations and responsibilities. Topics include legal financial oversight responsibilities, rates and changes, capital planning, finance tools such as capital reserve funds and cash flow projection models, and designing operator retention and reward programs.

Attendees

Members of city councils and county commissions, water and sewer authority boards, and sanitary district boards (boards are encouraged to attend as a group)
