Stormwater Finance and Management

This course is designed to provide an in-depth introduction to planning and funding stormwater programs and utilities. Participants will learn how a stormwater utility can help a local government meet its responsibilities for stormwater management; how to determine rates and fees; and how to set levels of service and costs. Other topics include organizational models for providing stormwater services; advantages and features of different institutional approaches; case studies of successful stormwater utilities throughout the state; and capital financing options and tools.
