Leadership and Governance

Emerging Leaders: Building Your Capacity to Lead

As North Carolina communities grow and the responsibilities of local governments become more complex and interconnected, leadership has become increasingly important at every organizational level. Effective leadership is essential to the well-being and sustainability of our communities in times of rapid change and economic challenge. Emerging Leaders explores the nature, qualities and practices of effective leadership – how to inspire commitment to shared visions, to set high standards of achievement, and to lead others to accept challenges and embrace change.
