Public Executive Leadership Academy

The Public Executive Leadership Academy provides city and county managers, their assistants, and key department heads the opportunity to learn more about themselves as leaders and to gain skills to lead and manage change in their communities. During this program participants will have the opportunity to explore how to engage citizens and elected leaders. Topics include techniques for resolving conflict, working with the media, building relationships with staff, and working with boards.

Attendees

City and county managers, assistant managers, and key department heads; a select group of up to 30 participants are admitted to PELA each year

Two residential sessions of one week each
