Local Government Law

Two Days of Elections Programs

This set of two one-day workshops provides updates on elections law and administration, providing credit for participants towards elections certification. Participants learn about voter registration, including denials, post-denial hearings, agency voter registration, voter registration depositories and Spanish language materials.  Participants also focus on fax and e-mail rules for FPCA and UOCAVA, verification, confirmation, list cleanup SEIMS processes, and residency issues.  Presentations also address the history of failsafe voting procedures. Using case studies, presenters address best practices for election administration and for campaign finance.
