Introduction to Planning Practice in North Carolina

This course provides an overview of planning in North Carolina. Participants will learn about legal aspects of local government boards, territorial jurisdiction, zoning, subdivision, comprehensive planning, and tools for plan implementation.

Course Materials
The School of Government will supply a participant's manual that will serve as text for this course.
Prerequisites
None, but priority will be given to applicants who are NCAPA members at the time of application.
